Ascherl says: "From our point of view, you can
exercise your
freedom of assembly
until 8.30 pm, and then be at home by 9 pm, like everyone else".
The decision was also viewed critically by many police officers: "Large parts of the population and many colleagues see many contradictions in themselves here".

The police were on duty with around 500 officers, as a local spokesman confirmed.
The organizer had registered
around 1000
participants
in advance with the authorities.
The Munich
district administration department (KVR),
however, approved 200 participants and justified this with the currently applicable state
Corona
* rules

A complaint against this was lodged with the Bavarian Administrative Court.
The judges decided on Sunday lunchtime that a maximum of 200 people could attend the meeting.
However, it was allowed to last until 10.15 p.m. and thus more than an hour longer than the
curfew
, which comes into force at 9 p.m.

Shortly before the start of the “Querdenker” demo, a counter-meeting with around 35 participants had been registered.
"In order to keep the two meetings separate, the participants in the opposing meeting had to be pushed away for a short time," summarized the police.
However, there
were no
notable incidents during the

.
The decision of the Administrative Court to allow the demo to end after 9 p.m. was hotly debated online.
