Although the local council gave him a proper rebuff in the case of bonus payments for Kirchdorf's educational staff, the matter is far from off the table for Martin Heyne (Greens).

In principle, the idea of monetary donation did not come from Heyne, but from Söder.
In November of last year, he had specifically asked the municipalities to check a bonus payment for educational staff - because this would have "deserved more than words of praise," said Söder at the time.
The Prime Minister also promised that the Free State of Bavaria would participate - however, nothing more has been heard of it to date.
For Heyne, a reason why the Kirchdorf committee had reacted negatively.

The councilor and son drove to Munich and deposited the letter at the Bavarian State Chancellery and Söder's private Munich apartment.
To be on the safe side, Heyne also wants to commission the green member of the state parliament, Johannes Becher, to follow up on this issue again.
