Germany recorded 6,408 infections and 903 new deaths with the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases published today, the total number of HIV infections has reached two million 141,077 cases, and deaths have reached 52,990.
In China, the National Health Commission announced the registration of 82 new cases of the virus yesterday, down from 124 the previous day, bringing the total number of infections on the Chinese mainland to 89,197 cases.
The first new death was recorded, bringing the total deaths to 4,636.
