- The Erding criminal police went online last Wednesday (January 20th, 2021), who faked his love for numerous women and stole their valuables and cash.

There were two arrest warrants for property offenses against the 55-year-old.

He could now be arrested in Baden-Württemberg.

The police announced on January 26th.

The man is charged with lying to single women across Germany several times.

The accused got to know his victims through dating portals on the Internet, feigned his love for them and stayed with the unsuspecting women.

When he had gained their trust, he used a favorable opportunity and enriched himself with the valuables of the injured party.

Cases in several German cities

So far, the 55-year-old suspect could be assigned to cases in Markt Schwaben, Augsburg, Munich, Langenbach (district of Freising) as well as Frankfurt and Mannheim.

The damage incurred cannot currently be quantified in more detail, as further victims must be assumed.

In the cases known so far, the damage was in the four-digit euro range.

Arrested in Mannheim

On the basis of an arrest warrant from the Erding District Court and a European arrest warrant from the Landshut District Court, the man was located near Mannheim on January 20th, 2021, and arrested that evening.

The 55-year-old was brought before the responsible judge in Mannheim the next day and then transferred to a local correctional facility.
