Three in 10 young people also admit to having already had suicidal thoughts or considered self-harm.

Significant damage
Social life at a standstill, uncertainties related to the future, precariousness ... Two thirds of young people believe that the epidemic will have an impact on their mental health, according to this study.

the negative consequences of the coronavirus on the daily life of 15-30 year olds: 80% of them declared having suffered “
significant damage
” linked to the pandemic, deteriorating relationships with their friends (43%), their family (29%) and have their love life (23%).

One in five young people say they have lost their home or experienced great difficulty in financing it.

Faced with this distress, the government promised a "mental health check", the equivalent of two or three consultations with the shrink.
