Portuguese Prime Minister: We have reached a horrific stage due to Corona

Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa revealed that his country is going through a "horrific phase" due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, unlikely that the situation will begin to improve before several weeks have passed.

"The situation is not only bad, but terrible," Costa said, adding that "Portugal is facing the worst phase of the outbreak of the epidemic and will continue for a few more weeks."

And Germany announced yesterday that it will send military medical experts to Portugal to find out what kind of support can be provided to help contain the Corona crisis.

So far, the total number of injuries in Portugal has reached 668,951 confirmed cases, while the number of deaths has reached 11,305.
