A combination of snow and wind caused all kinds of problems on the roads in the district on Tuesday.
During the day, several cars got stuck in snowdrifts near Adelshofen.
Adelshofen - Even a public bus could no longer get through.
Fortunately, there were two helpful excavator drivers nearby to help those who got stuck out of the mess.
Andreas Bentenrieder and Michael Stecher were busy with their heavy vehicle on a construction site on the outskirts in the direction of Nassenhausen when they noticed a woman who had gotten stuck with her car.
Not the first time that happened that day.
“But by then the drivers have all bailed each other out,” says Bentenrieder.

Not this time.
Several vehicles drove by without helping.
And then an 822 bus got stuck when the driver tried to maneuver past the stuck car.
"According to my driver, the road was as smooth as glass," reports Siegfried Neumayr from the bus company of the same name in the Dünzelbach district of Moorenweis.
Without hesitation, Bentenrieder and Stecher, who were observing the whole thing from the construction site not far away, rushed to help.
“For us it was a matter of course that we would go there,” says Bentenrieder.
First they cleared the snow from the roadway with their excavator.
Then they used the heavy vehicle to pull those who had got stuck out of the snow.
In the end it was four cars and the bus that needed the support of the two men.
After about half an hour, the two excavator helpers were ready.
The cars and the bus were able to continue their journeys undamaged.
“And we went back to work on the construction site,” says Bentenrieder.
