The fire, which started from a deep fryer, was quickly brought under control by the firefighters on Tuesday afternoon. No injuries are to be deplored.

The fire from a 17-story tower apartment could have been dramatic, but the worst was avoided.

This Tuesday, around 4:20 p.m., the firefighters were called to number 8, rue Zilina, in Nanterre, for a kitchen fire in an apartment located on the third floor.

On the spot, the twenty mobilized firefighters evacuated around thirty people from floors 3 and 4. They quickly brought the fire under control, preventing it from spreading to neighboring apartments.

No one was injured or even poisoned by the fumes.

No transport to the hospital was therefore necessary.

At around 5.15 p.m., the fire was extinguished and almost all of the tenants were able to return to their accommodation.

With the exception of the tenants of the damaged apartment, a mother and her daughter, who had to be relocated.

According to the first observations, it seems that the fire started from a fryer installed in their kitchen of 10 m².
