The stake is simple, for the one who was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 1994, then partially pardoned by Jacques Chirac and released in 1998, but never exonerated.
It is a matter of obtaining a review of the trial, a very exceptional procedure.
Depending on elements filed last June by Me Sylvie Noachovitch, the investigative committee of the Court of Revision may ask for further details.
A new hearing could then be held and result in a decision.
Which will have, whatever it is, a great symbolic significance, this file being particularly media and controversial.
