A Latina mother in Florida has been charged along with another person with orchestrating a plot to murder her 3-year-old son when, according to police, the woman tried to hire an online hitman to commit the crime, according to court documents.

Jazmin Paez, 18, was arrested on July 18 after submitting a request to hire a hitman on the prank website rentahitman.com. According to an affidavit, the woman sought to have her son killed.

In his efforts, Paez provided an address and a photo of his son, according to court documents. He also provided a contraeña phrase for the potential assassin he was looking to hire. The phrase was "Put me in, coach," according to the affidavit.

The website's creator contacted Miami-Dade police last month and an investigation was immediately launched.

A police officer posed as a hitman during a text message exchange with the woman, and agreed to be paid $3,000 for the job, according to the affidavit.

Paez is charged with solicitation of first-degree murder and unlawful use of a communications device, according to court documents. His attorney could not be reached Wednesday for comment on the case.

Gamaliel Soza, 18, was arrested Monday and is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and unlawful use of a communications device.

"The child is the problem. I hope you see that all I wanted was to free you. I told you about the child. You won't do anything," the defendant said, according to the affidavit.

In April, a member of the Air National Guard was charged with promoting himself as a hitman. Josiah Ernesto Garcia signed up on the website and submitted an ID and resume, according to the Middle District Attorney's Office of Tennessee.

The site was created in 2005 to advertise a cybersecurity startup or startup. But it soon began receiving inquiries for services from hitmen, so it became a parody site with fake user testimonials, according to a criminal complaint in Garcia's case.
