Thailand – Schlager star Anna-Carina Woitschack (31) has escaped the cold German winter and is currently on holiday in Thailand with her boyfriend Daniel. There, she drinks from coconuts, strolls along white sandy beaches in a skimpy bikini and marvels at picturesque waterfalls – and of course captures all this on camera for her Instagram fans. But in her latest video, there is suddenly a completely different mood. There, the pop singer seems to be in hellish pain and even bursts into tears.

With a bright red head, Anna-Carina Woitschack wipes the tears from her eyes. The pop singer has to support herself with her arm at the table, she feels visibly uncomfortable. With glazed eyes, she holds her water bottle to her face. But what happened? Why is Anna-Carina Woitschack in such pain?
The answer: she ate too spicy. The dish she ordered would have been "mild by Thai standards," as Anna-Carina-Woitschack reveals. But probably too spicy for the pop singer. "The sharpest thing I've ever experienced. Welcome to a #nightmarket in Thailand," she captioned the Instagram video. She tries to remedy the situation with citrus fruits, but nothing seems to help against the Thai spiciness.
