Thousands of pro-Hamas demonstrators from several organizations gathered in Manhattan on Monday to demonstrate against Jewish institutions demanding a ceasefire, chanting slogans against Israel, Zionism and Jewish institutions.
In a video filmed outside Sloan Kettering Hospital, a hospital known to cancer sufferers, demonstrators can be seen carrying Palestinian flags and shouting "shame." One of the protest leaders shouted, "Make sure they hear you, they're looking out the windows," as families with children are seen standing by the building's windows.

The demonstrators chanted, "Celebon Kettering Hospital, you are complicit in genocide." The demonstrators also gathered near the Mount Sinai Jewish Hospital and chanted, "Mount Sinai, you cannot hide, you are partners in genocide." The demonstrators harassed customers at McDonald's restaurants and Starbucks cafes, claiming that the chains were collaborating with Israel's actions in Gaza.
"I was shocked. It was terrible. I felt like I was in Germany in the 1930s," a Jewish woman from the area where the protest took place told the New York Post. Police were forced to intervene to get her out of the crowd after some confronted her.
