Is your lucky Eurojackpot number drawn more often than others? In theory, every number has the same chance, but the statistics show astonishing differences.
Hamm - Just once. Just this one time to trick the odds and land the really big hit in the lottery. It doesn't matter whether it's the Lotto classic 6 out of 49, the Eurojackpot or the Spanish Christmas lottery El Gordo with its pompous draw: Many Germans dream of a multi-million euro hit and therefore regularly fill out a ticket – and regularly with the same numbers over and over again. But can they do anything at all, or are they really crackers? A statistic shows which numbers have been drawn most often in the Eurojackpot so far.

If you want to win the big money in prize category 1 at the Eurojackpot, you have a powerful enemy: mathematics. The chance of matching all seven numbers – 5 out of 50 and 2 Euro numbers out of a possible 12 – is about 1:140 million. So if you want to win, you need a lot of luck. And the best time to do this is in a draw that has a maximum jackpot of €120 million.

Mathematically speaking, each of the 50 numbers in the Eurojackpot has the same chance of being drawn – this also applies separately to each of the 12 euro numbers. So, in theory, it doesn't matter if you blindly tick the numbers or choose your favourite number, the wedding date or the jersey numbers of your favourite footballers – nor does it matter if you do it again and again. Perhaps a statistical survey by the official lottery operator will help you to rethink your own betting behavior.

Eurojackpot: These Numbers Are Least Likely To Be Drawn
The statistics also show which numbers have been drawn the least frequently in the Eurojackpot so far*:
- Number 27: 55 times
- Number 48: 56 times
- Number 50: 62 times
- Number 25: 63 times
- Numbers 28, 36, 42: 64 times
- Numbers 33 and 37: 66 times
The following numbers were drawn least frequently for the euro numbers*:
- Number 11: 27 times
- Number 12: 31 times
- Number 10: 102 times

When it comes to the Euro numbers, it should be noted that the 11 and 12 can only be ticked since the big change in the Eurojackpot rules in March 2022. This explains the significantly lower figures.
Mathematically, there is only a small chance of a warm rain of money, but: The Eurojackpot makes people in Germany and Europe millionaires on a regular basis. For example, in December 2023, a player from North Rhine-Westphalia won a large sum, continuing an astonishing streak. It could have been even more. In June 2023, the mega jackpot of €120 million went to Germany – the stake for the record win was just €10.
