Freezing rain warning also for the Brucker Land: The building yards are preparing. However, there is no general school cancellation for the entire FFB district.
Fürstenfeldbruck - How bad will the predicted freezing rain be on Wednesday morning? This question was also asked by Martin Schuster from the Brucker Bauhof on Tuesday. As a precaution, he filled his gritting vehicle with salt. His boss, Peter Langenegger, was worried about the severe weather warning issued by the German Weather Service. Because no one knows exactly how dramatic the predicted freezing rain would be on Tuesday.

As a preventive measure, the streets are already salted in the evening. And from three o'clock in the morning, the team is ready to intervene as quickly as possible if the worst comes to the worst.
For the district of Fürstenfeldbruck (Tuesday, as of 16.15 p.m.) a warning from the German weather service applies. Accordingly, there is a high risk of slippery roads from 17 a.m. on Wednesday, January 5. First, according to the forecast, there will be light snowfall, then there will be a rapid transition into freezing rain, according to the German Weather Service.
School takes place
In the district office, the responsible coordination group "weather-related teaching restrictions" has agreed not to issue a general school cancellation - similar to the heavy snowfall at the beginning of December and unlike in the district of Freising, for example, where classes for Wednesday were canceled. This means that in Bruck every school can decide for itself. Students who cannot come to class because of the weather can be excused, a spokeswoman explained when asked. The local conditions in the FFB district are quite different, the coordination group said.
