The students have donated the proceeds of several activities at the elementary and middle school to various organizations - in the region and worldwide.

Finsing – The pupils of the primary and secondary school Finsing have decided to donate the proceeds of numerous campaigns during the past school year. According to a press release, a mid-four-digit amount was raised for various organizations.

Together with the teachers and the student co-administration (SMV), many activities were planned and carried out over the course of the school year, in which the students actively helped. For St. Nicholas, for example, there was a gingerbread day, where gingerbread and children's punch were offered for the whole school family for a small fee.

Shortly before Christmas, a bazaar was organized. The families were invited to experience a pre-Christmas afternoon at the school. The buffet was filled by parents and students, and in the classes you could find beautiful things that the children had made themselves, such as cookies, Christmas cards or angels. Even a theatre and café opened their doors. And for carnival there were doughnuts in the auditorium.

After the suggestions from the school family, various projects to which donations could be made were presented in the class representative meeting. According to the press release, the children and young people decided to divide the money and thus donate smaller parts to several projects. The KlinikClowns and the Zeltschule e.V., which builds tent schools for children in Libyan refugee camps, were considered. The Eichenrieder Verein Helferschwein e.V. was also supported.

A member of the school family also travels to Cape Verde every year and helps with the non-profit association "Sodade – German Kapverdische Gesellschaft e.V." in a school. This year, among other things, an inverter from the Finsinger school was in their luggage, so that the children have light in the playground again.

Teacher Daniela Rogall was also on holiday in the West African country of Togo and visited the orphanage children's center Peters of the association Tamatogo e.V., whose headquarters are located in Geisenfeld, Bavaria. The students of the Finsing school also supported this project: "The children in the orphanage find security, medical care and healthy food so that they can go to school strengthened and regularly," says the press release.
