On a snow-slick road in Poing, a motorist slid into oncoming traffic early Monday evening. Also in the car were two of the driver's daughters. Two people were slightly injured.

Poing – On Monday (15 January), at around 18.10 p.m., an accident occurred on a snow-slick road on Kirchheimer Allee. According to the police, a 42-year-old woman from Poingen slipped with her Nissan Micra and crashed into an oncoming Skoda. At the wheel was a 23-year-old Poinger. In the Nissan were still the 10- and 17-year-old daughters of the 42-year-old. According to police, the mother and the ten-year-old were slightly injured.

The resulting property damage is estimated at a total of 13,000 euros. Forces from the Poing volunteer fire brigade were involved in the clean-up work.
