New bomb threat in Paris. This Tuesday morning, the students of the Louis-Armand high school, located on rue Lecourbe in the fifteenth arrondissement, had to leave their school around 9 a.m. According to our information, a former student of this vocational school told the police that he had planted several bombs in the building and that they would explode in the morning.
"This is a former student who alerted the police, probably to get attention. The establishment has been evacuated as a precautionary measure," the mayor of the 750th arrondissement, Philippe Goujon, confirmed to Le Parisien. In total, all of the school's staff and <> students were brought to safety. Most returned home during the morning.
The street closed, a security perimeter established
The former student in question, who, according to our information, said he had been harassed, "would aim to be listened to" and not "for there to be deaths", analyses a source close to the case. He is said to have indicated his intentions in an email sent to the police station of the 15th arrondissement.
A security perimeter has been established around this high school of science and digital - recently rebuilt by the Île-de-France region - by the national police and two crews of the municipal police and prevention directorate (DPMP). Two canine officers are inside the school, Philippe Goujon said shortly before 11 a.m. Lecourbe Street is closed to traffic while the police intervene.
