In wintry weather conditions, several accidents occurred on Monday evening in the Brucker Westkreis. A motorist was injured.

Fürstenfeldbruck - The surprisingly heavy snowfall on Monday evening made for difficult road conditions in icy temperatures.

In Althegnenberg

Among other things, there was a crash around 20.50 p.m. on the B2 in Althegnenberg. A 65-year-old from Fürstenfeldbruck was driving in the direction of Fürstenfeldbruck. According to the police, at the level of the gas station diagonally opposite the town hall, he first touched the side of an oncoming car with his car and then collided head-on with another oncoming car.

The man from Bruck was slightly injured in the accident and had to be taken to hospital. The fire brigades of Althegnenberg, Fürstenfeldbruck and Mittelstetten were alerted to the rescue, according to the police. Two vehicles had to be towed away from the scene of the accident, causing a total of around 22,000 euros in property damage.

Near Landsberied

Around 18:30 p.m. on the same evening, a 60-year-old man from Bruck came into the oncoming lane with his car on the state road 2054 near Landsberied due to poor visibility. He collided with the oncoming car of a 61-year-old from Geltendorf. Due to the low speed of the vehicles, there was minimal damage, according to the police.

Snow plough rammed

Also on Monday evening at 18.50 p.m., a 21-year-old from Mittelstetten slipped on a slippery road on the district road from Grafrath to Moorenweis. According to the police, he got into oncoming traffic. His vehicle and the car of a 60-year-old woman from Grafrath were slightly damaged.

Around 19:30 p.m., a 47-year-old man from Emmeringer hit a snow plough on the state road 2054 near Aich when it had to brake due to traffic. According to the police, his car was badly damaged, but he was uninjured. The vehicle had to be towed. The snow plough was only slightly damaged.
