Greding – In the night from Saturday, January 13, 2024, to Sunday, January 14, 2024, an incident occurred in a discotheque in Greding, Middle Franconia, in which a large group of people chanted xenophobic slogans. This was reported to the Central Franconia Police Headquarters and the Commissioner's Office for State Security of the Schwabach Criminal Investigation Department has taken up the investigation.

The incident was reported to police on Sunday, January 14, 2024. As a result, the officers initiated criminal proceedings against unknown persons. Further investigations into the initial suspicion of inciting hatred are being carried out by the Commissariat for State Security of the Schwabach Criminal Police.

The officers of the State Security Police are asking for witnesses. Anyone who can provide information about the incident in the discotheque or who has pictures or videos of it are asked to call 0911 2112-3333.
