After a hard struggle that reached the walls of the Supreme Court of Justice, it was decided that the demonstration against the continuation of the war in Gaza - will take place.

The judges of the High Court accepted the position of the legal adviser to the government, and decided that it was necessary to hold the demonstration, despite the opposition of the police.

The demonstration will therefore take place on Saturday in Haifa, under restrictions set by the police.

The number of participants will not exceed 700 people and there will be no march.

The demonstration will start at 13:00 and end at 15:00.

"This coming Saturday we will demonstrate in Paris Square in Haifa, against the continuation of the war. This is the first mass demonstration in Haifa and the north after the police folded in the face of our insistence and after our petition to the High Court, with the help of the Civil Rights Association," said the "Shalom Partnership" movement, adding: "Our demonstration will be Giant in spirit, and she will be the voice to put an end to war and bloodshed, for a deal to liberate everyone for everyone, to promote a political process that will end the occupation and ensure the future of the two peoples in this country, against political persecution and for full equality, to put an end to the abandonment of the weakened populations - the first to pay the price of wars.

"We cannot be separated and ruled over, we will all continue our partnership, from all dozens of organizations as widely as possible - even if at this rally the police conditions forced us to exclude our religious partners. This is only the beginning - we will not hesitate - we will stop the war."

The police said in response to the court's decision: "The Israel Police is a law-abiding and law-enforcing body that respects and implements every decision of the court."

Shai Glick, CEO of an organization in "Zelmo", which strongly opposes the holding of the demonstration, said: "It is unfortunate that the Supreme Court pressured the Israel Police to surrender.

Amjad Shabita and Rega Zatra the petitioners and the organizers are supposed to sit in jail and not organize any demonstrations.

We call on everyone who can come and protest on the spot and prevent any demonstration of terrorism and incitement."

Glick also referred to the position of the police and said: "Coast District Commander Superintendent Danny Levy spoke eloquently about the duty to prevent this inciting event. But unfortunately the court closed his ears. I have never been more proud of such a dedicated police officer and commander who fought with all his might for the State of Israel. Blessed are the people His commanders asked and unfortunately his judges asked."
