There are all kinds of two-state solutions. There are countries that are members of the United Nations but do not have their own army.

There are some countries that have restrictions.

So I think there are ways it can work."

The conversation between Biden and Netanyahu was the first that took place between the two leaders since December 23, when Biden cut off the conversation after Netanyahu refused to release the Palestinian tax money.

An Israeli official stated that "the conversation between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Biden was good and lasted 40 minutes. The Prime Minister reviewed Israel's actions in the various sectors, and reiterated Israel's commitment to achieving the goals of the war, including the return of our abductees."

White House spokesman John Kirby said that Biden and Netanyahu discussed efforts to free the hostages and the transition to a more focused IDF operation in Gaza that would allow for an increase in the amount of humanitarian aid entering the Strip. Kirby also said that President Biden welcomed the Israeli government's decision to allow the transfer of flour directly to Gaza through the Port of Ashdod At the same time, teams from the two countries are discussing the possibilities of transferring humanitarian aid to Gaza by sea.
