The German Weather Service (DWD) is forecasting temperatures of up to minus 15 degrees with clear skies and snow on Saturday night.
Weather expert Jung predicts severe night frosts for the weekend, with temperatures between minus 15 and in places minus 20 and even minus 25 degrees.
In the Alps there is a risk of temperatures around minus 30 degrees.
