Munich – Living together in an apartment building is often characterized by conflicts.
Noise, unpleasant smells or unwanted emissions such as cigarette smoke are usually the reasons for trouble with the neighbors.
However, in times of online shopping, disputes can quickly arise on another front - when it comes to the delivery of packages.
It's not just the work of the parcel deliverers that is often criticized, neighbors can also become the target of criticism.
A notice in a residential building even threatened to take extremely drastic measures.
Drastic threat through notes in the house. Lost packages
The first words already give an idea that the authors of a note are not to be joked with: “Last warning!!!” A post on Reddit with the title “Package war in our apartment building” shows a printout on A4 in an apartment building of an unknown location should hang.
On it you can read a message from a resident whose packages are being opened or even disappearing.
“This behavior is DISRESPECTful as it violates our privacy and damages our orders,” the notice also states.
The other residents of the house are obviously accused of the crime.
In order to get to the bottom of the perpetrators, the author of the notice announced severe measures.
“FROM NOW, we will be placing decoy packages with color and sound bombs.
When the packages are opened you will see your surprise!” can be read on the note.
As if that wasn't enough, the recipients of the dummies are also allowed to pay for the cleaning and have to deal with the angry neighbor personally.
“We will visit you personally and a complaint will be filed against you,” the notice says, before closing with the clear words: “LEAVE PACKAGES UNTOUCHED BY STRANGERS!!!”

The threat may not have gone down well with the residents of the house.
In response to the angry “bomb threat” notice, neighbors placed additional notes under the original notice.
“ATTENTION!” is emblazoned in large letters on a piece of paper, which summarizes the threat again and says: “I wanted to take the opportunity to warn everyone about it.” Another message to the creator of the notice asks him if he doesn’t I find it out of place to place “something bomb-like” on the common areas of a residential building.

This is followed by another piece of paper that appears to be stuck in the middle over the answer.
It is unclear whether it comes from the same person.
“I know who the creator of this threat is and will send a photo of the letter to police and the AGB,” it says.
“As a father or mother,” the note also says, “you should be able to choose other words.”
Excitement for nothing?

Users on Reddit have already reacted to the controversial notice.
“What’s the fuss about, it’s probably just an empty threat,” asks one user.
If anything, you do something like that without warning, he adds.
“As long as you have the technical skills to do it at all.” Another user probably doesn’t find the note worrying either: “That’s how people used to chat.
“Those were the good old days,” he writes, although it is not clear whether with or without sarcasm.
Neighborhood disputes can arise not only in the house itself, but also in front of it.
