posted on her Instagram account a particularly disturbing photo of her bedridden and wired from all sides in a hospital room.
At his side, his companion, the Franco-English actor Paul Forman, is at his bedside.
“The first word that comes to me as I am recovering from my first weeks of 2024 is gratitude
,” wrote the 32-year-old actress before describing the ordeal she went through.

At the end of the year, the woman who plays Mindy Chen in the Netflix series
Emily in Paris
was on vacation in Thailand when she fell ill.
“I went from pharyngitis to
critical septic shock
that infected and affected several of my organs
,” she explained.
With this very serious inflammatory reaction, Ashley Park found herself between life and death.
“I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we were initially told
,” she emphasizes.

The actress and singer, a native of Glendale, California, also thanked her companion for having been there throughout her illness and her care.
“You calmed my fears and supported me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in intensive care, frightening emergencies, countless scans, tests and injections, excruciating pain and so much confusion while we were alone on the other side of the world
,” she told him, openly declaring her love for him.
Ashley Park also thanked the medical teams who took care of her.
“I hesitated to share what happened to me because I am still recovering
,” she concluded.
I know that I am now safe and that I have avoided the worst.
I will heal and promise you everything will be okay.
