Two themes will dominate the campaign for the European elections next June: climate change and immigration.

This is the announcement of a new ECFR study published exclusively by LENA, carried out in nine Member States of the European Union: France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Estonia and Romania.

This publication is a synthesis of public opinion studies on these countries which represent 75% of the total population of the EU.

The originality of these conclusions mainly concerns the classification of European voters, fragmented into five “

crisis tribes

” which correspond to as many major themes: climate change and immigration, as we announced, but also the crisis economic, the Covid-19 pandemic and of course, Russia's war in Ukraine.
