“Hartz and cordial” favorite Regina is up to her neck in debt.

Although she has already had to file for personal bankruptcy, the Rostock native cannot pay her bills.

The social documentary “Hartz und Herzen” made the Rostock Blockmacherring known throughout Germany.

Viewers have been enthusiastic about the RTLZWEI program for many years.

It shows the unadorned lives of the residents - the constant money worries, the stress with the office and family problems.

Among the residents is 70-year-old Regina, who cannot get out of debt despite personal bankruptcy, as MANNHEIM24 reports.

“Hartz and cordial” on RTLZWEI: Regina from Rostock lives on the subsistence level

In the Rostock episodes of the popular cult show “Hartz und Herzlich – Rostock Groß Klein Day after Day”, viewers get an insight into everyday life in the Blockmacherring.

Regina has lived there for over 13 years; the 70-year-old pensioner lives in a one-room apartment with her dog Mickey.

Despite her modest accommodation, she can barely live on her small pension.

There are also health problems.

In the block making ring, joy and suffering are close together.

Pensioner Regina has experienced existential fears since she was a young woman.

The 70-year-old fled the GDR and moved to the Hanseatic city over 33 years ago.

But that came at a price: Regina's children were taken away because she fled.

The native Thuringian still suffers from this.

The 70-year-old has been fighting her worries alone since she had to bury her fiancé Norbert.

Audience favorite Regina from “Hartz and Cordial” had to file for bankruptcy

A year ago, “Hartz und cordial” fans already saw Regina’s money worries.

The pensioner sank into electricity debts that she could not pay off.

The pensioner's electricity was turned off because unpaid bills were piling up.

The Rostock woman only had one choice to contain the catastrophe: she filed for personal bankruptcy.

This enabled her to free herself from large debts.

But the bankruptcy also means a lot of conditions for the TV darling.

Among other things, it is not allowed to incur any new debts.

The RTLZWEI faithful have already faced a number of challenges and strokes of fate.

Prayers help her in difficult times.

She has prayed every night since she fell into a coma after a heart attack.

In the middle of the ongoing bankruptcy, the mother of three experiences another setback.

Debt despite bankruptcy: Will “Hartz und cordial” Regina’s electricity be turned off?

Regina reveals her worries in front of the “Hartz and cordial – day after day Rostock Groß Klein” camera team: She has not paid her electricity bills and has therefore violated the bankruptcy requirements.

A catastrophe for the pensioner – her electricity could be cut off again!

The 70-year-old can barely live on her small pension, let alone pay the high electricity bills.

The resident of the block making ring is frustrated, she explains why.

“I have electricity debts of around 140 or 150 euros again and I don’t think it’s my fault!” She thinks her electricity bills are too high and that’s why she hasn’t paid them in the past few weeks.

Her last hope is that the municipal utilities will allow her to pay in installments.

However, she has bad plans for the future: “Mickey's priority is that Mickey has to eat first [...], I don't care if I don't eat at all for a day or two [...], there's no other way!” (str)
