Abandoned, vandalized, in agony, the Orvilliers washhouse is now sad to see.

The town hall of this Yvelines village located between Mantes-la-Jolie and Houdan has just launched a collection to finance the rescue of this tiny building located at the foot of “the White House”, the second home of the former President of the Republic (1969-1974).

The former head of state is also buried in the small communal cemetery.
