With a ticket book in hand, Catherine Martin, mayor of Tillé (Oise), wanders the streets of her town looking for cars with parking violations.
She sometimes takes over from the ASVP (Public Highway Surveillance Agent) responsible for combating illegal parking by certain travelers at Beauvais-Paris airport.
“On January 1, when parking was changing sides in the streets, I fined and sent 40 vehicles to impound,” she explains.

The management of illegal parking, fines, impounding and also waste collection are all nuisances caused by the presence of the airport and its 5 million passengers.
For the first time, Catherine Martin has decided to quantify the cost of these nuisances: the amount amounts to 90,000 euros for the year 2023.
