This resident of Goussainville had applied to the administrative court of Cergy-Pontoise in August 2021 to have the college assigned to his daughter changed by National Education for her entry into 6th grade.

The courts just ruled in his favor at the beginning of November by canceling the assignment.
The child, educated at the time in CM2 at the Germaine-Vié school, was thus the only student in her class assigned to the Pierre-Curie college, two kilometers away from her home, rather than to the Maximilien-de college. -Robespierre nearby.
An incomprehensible decision for this parent who had tried to explain, without being heard, that his home fell within the service area of Robespierre college and not the second, “served neither by school transport nor by public transport”.
“My daughter cannot, for health reasons, make the journey on foot (around 30 minutes, Editor's note) between our home and the assigned college,” he argued, and this from a first gracious appeal, but rejected by the rector of the Versailles academy at the time.

An incident unrelated to the overhaul of the school map of Goussainville colleges, completely revised in 2019 after a reaction from parents.
“She was the only child in the school who found herself in that situation at that time.
All this, because the family lived on rue Curie, but very close to Robespierre and not to the Curie college,” explains Yohanna Senouillet, president of the Goussainvillois parents’ association (APEG) who had sent a letter to the time to support the father, whom we were unable to contact.
