At the annual meeting of the Dietramszell Volunteer Fire Department, a new emergency vehicle was announced for February.

Dietramszell – Deep “Denis” will be remembered by many for a long time.

Last August it caused severe damage in Bavaria.

The focus of the hail storm was on Bad Bayersoien and Benediktbeuern.

Hailstones up to ten centimeters in size left a trail of destruction behind.

The repair work has not yet been completed to date, five months later.

The Dietramszell fire department was also involved in the initial relief efforts.

“In a situation like this, cohesion is a given,” emphasized Commander Fabian Fiegler at the fire department’s annual meeting in the Gasthof Peiß.

At the same time, he praises the commitment of his comrades: “Numerous emergency services from the Dietramszell municipal area supported the fire departments from the southern district with manpower and equipment in alternating shifts.” What also made him particularly happy was the solidarity between the local fire departments.

“Everyone can rely on everyone else.”

Fiegler also had good news for the coming year: “The new logistics equipment truck is scheduled to be delivered in February 2024.” The previous fire department vehicle LF10 will then be handed over to the Ascholding fire department.

The association reminded the approximately 50 members who came to the annual meeting of the many events.

The cash report was also satisfactory to everyone.

“A consistently positive balance,” said Maria Fiegler, the association’s second secretary.

One of the reasons for this was “the popular St. John’s Day fire that the fire department has been celebrating in the fields of Kreuzbichl for several years and has been very well received by the citizens.”

Following the annual reports, the comrades of the Dietramszeller Wehr were asked to elect a new board.

Josef Häsch, previously second chairman, and treasurer Lisa Häsch had previously announced that they would no longer be able to carry out their duties.

Michael Häsch Jr., who had previously served on the board as an ensign, was elected vice president.
