And if Ted Mosby, the hero of
How I Met Your Mother,
indeed found the right match in the series, this was not the case for his interpreter Josh Radnor.
A decade later, it is now a done deal.
The 49-year-old actor revealed on his Instagram account on Friday, January 19, that he got married in the middle of a snowstorm, to a woman named Jordana Jacobs, at the Cedar Lakes Estate in the Hudson Valley.
The actor thus revealed a series of photos from the event, in which he appears kissing his wife in the snow, then smiling in a suit and coat in front of his guests.
"I am married !
he wrote in the caption of the publication.
Two weeks ago.
Under a “light” blizzard.
It was an incredible weekend of snowy bliss.”

In November 2023, the actor and singer revealed during a concert in New York that he was preparing to seal his union with his partner.
He explained in particular that he wrote the song
Brooklyn Girl
after his “psychedelic” meeting with Jordana Jacobs.
“Suddenly, we are going to get married,” he declared at the time.

An anecdote that the actor recounted in the columns of the
New York Times
on January 19.
In February 2022, the forty-year-old, experiencing difficulties since his previous breakup, attended a sound meditation course in New York, in the company of 30 other people.
It is there that he meets Jordana Jacobs, recently separated from her own ex-partner.
Josh Radnor and the psychologist then discuss the themes of love and death.
The next day, they ingest a “psychedelic mix” based on hallucinogenic mushrooms, before lying down in different places in the room, with their eyes masked, to the sound of Tibetan bowls.
According to Josh Radnor, a voice then whispered to him about Dr. Jacobs: “It’s her.
She’s your wife.”
At the same time, Dr. Jacobs allegedly heard: “Do you see that man across the room, Josh?
You are attracted to him.”
After this experience, the two exchanged text messages for a month.
Then, the couple moved together in Brooklyn.
Jordana Jacobs has never seen Josh Radnor's flagship series - which is a good thing for the latter.
After a few months, the couple decided to get married.
A union that will echo their first meeting.
The wedding guests had the pleasure of discovering, during the ceremony, table runners adorned with mushrooms, and of participating in a session… yoga and sound meditation.
