The death of a farmer, killed this Tuesday morning in Pamiers (Ariège) by a vehicle which drove at dawn into a road block set up by agricultural unions, was the subject of heated discussions during the conference of presidents of the National Assembly this Tuesday, according to our information.

The president of the communist group André Chassaigne actually asked for a minute of silence to be held in the hemicycle on Tuesday afternoon.
A request supported by the LR group.
But the Insoumis Éric Coquerel then opposed it, demanding, if this minute of silence were held, that another be respected in tribute to the two teenagers aged 14 and 18, killed last week in Saint-Denis, in a context of inter-district tensions.
