The Bobigny court noted an uninhibited use of bladed weapons among these gangs who clashed.


A runaway phenomenon stemmed by radical police measures and bans on gatherings in public spaces.

For two weeks now, youth brawls have been increasing in the town of Saint-Denis, which will tomorrow be one of the epicenters of the Olympic Games.

According to the latest figures provided by the Bobigny prosecutor, Éric Mathais, during these two weeks, “

the police forces and the judicial authority carried out around sixty police custody and 24 removals.

Again on Sunday, twelve minors were referred in order to avoid a new brawl

.”
