The Allguth gas station near Unterföhring is a popular meeting place for the noisy car poser scene.
A package of measures is intended to drive them out of there.
Unterföhring – The unanimous tenor: Enough!
The fact that the so-called car poser scene has chosen the Allguth gas station in Unterföhring as one of its favorite meeting places and is terrorizing the whole place with illegal events (we reported) should now be over.
They wanted to make the meeting point “maximally unattractive” – that was the result of an on-site visit with the police, representatives of the gas station, Mayor Andreas Kemmelmeyer and experts from the town hall administration.
To combat the enormous nuisance caused by engine noise and squealing tires, gas pumps that are parked in the evening and at night, and loud music, gas stations and authorities are now taking a package of measures.
The Allguth employees will use suitable means to cordon off the gas station at the roundabout on Dieselstrasse in the evening so that people can only fill up there and not park or hang out in large numbers.
“Anyone who disrupts the orderly course of operations or does not stop there to refuel or shop will be banned from entering the premises, which will be strictly monitored by a security service.
In the event of a repeat offense, criminal charges will be filed immediately,” says a press release from the municipality of Unterföhring.
This approach has already proven to be effective at other Autoposer meeting points.
Security service and stay-at-home orders
In addition, the police will continue their patrols and inspection visits and will also regularly take a look at the agricultural paths in the area around the Allguth roundabout.
Because dirt roads could be used by car posers as escape routes during police checks - these will be cut off for them.
If there are violations of the house ban, the police will be there to issue evictions and file criminal charges.
“This concept worked well at other gas stations where car posers appeared with similar frequency,” says Andreas Kemmelmeyer.
Unterföhring's mayor is now hoping for quieter nights: “So far it has been the case that the car posers gathered in a parade at the Allguth gas station, which was the starting and finishing point.
As the spectators cheer, someone spins a donut and then zooms away.” A donut?
In the scene this means making the car spin around with a lot of noise and in a very small space.
“People have to have a lot of money because the rubber wear means they have to get a new set of tires,” says Kemmelmeyer.
He is bothered by both the road pollution and the noise at night: “Residents have to keep their windows closed if they want to sleep.”
Petrol stations also suffer from noise
But the Autoposer meetings are also a nuisance for gas station operators because they damage business: potential customers are annoyed by the noise and no longer drive to the gas station, and tanker trucks loaded with fuel cannot unload their cargo.
“The employees want to work undisturbed and live in peace with their neighbors,” says the gas station.
The control and locking system should be in place by spring, when temperatures rise and mild evenings encourage car posers to go on a rally.
To guarantee what is sometimes missing at night: peace.
