Dublin – Storm Isha caused chaos in western Europe on Monday night (January 22nd).

With wind speeds of up to 140 kilometers per hour, the storm primarily hit Great Britain and Ireland.

The British weather service Met Office temporarily warned of the dangerous weather situation across the country.

In Germany, too, people are currently preparing for a storm.

Travelers are stranded in London.

Numerous flights and trains were canceled due to the storm.

The stormy weather posed a major challenge not only to pilots but also to air traffic controllers.

Planes made little progress.

“The wind was so strong yesterday that we had a ground speed at which we would have been overtaken by a helicopter under less extreme conditions,” a pilot told the station.
