He is back !
Six months before the Paris Olympics, French sports legend Teddy Riner will soon return to the tatamis by participating in the Paris Grand Slam on February 4 at the Accor Arena (Paris XII).
A return earlier than expected for the Frenchman, who has not fought individually since the world championships last May in Doha, where he won his eleventh world crown, a record.
The three-time Olympic champion, however, took part with PSG in the semi-final and the final for 3rd place in the Champions League in Belgrade last December, during which he won his three fights.

The Guadeloupean will try to win an 8th Paris Grand Slam, one year after his seventh coronation in the capital.
Mathéo Akiana Mongo thus gives up his place to the 34-year-old Frenchman in the +100kg category.
The judo events will take place from July 27 to August 3 at the Arena Champ-de-Mars (Paris VII).
This will probably be his last competition.
