Software company SAP has announced a transformation program for 2024 and wants to cut thousands of jobs worldwide as part of this.
Walldorf - Things have been simmering at Europe's largest software company SAP for some time.
CEO Christian Klein wants to align the company more closely with AI and the cloud and has already sworn the workforce to “hard work” and “great discipline”.
As part of a restructuring, there were already fears of further job cuts, which the Baden-Württemberg company confirmed on Tuesday (January 23) as part of a transformation program.
