This is not how you build a war: "diplomatic logic" makes leaders forget the goal Israel today

Highlights: This is not how you build a war: "diplomatic logic" makes leaders forget the goal Israel today. Israel feeds its enemies, prolongs the war, makes it harder for our soldiers and eases the pressure that should lead to the release of the hostages from enemy captivity in Gaza. Israel with one hand is fighting against a cruel enemy, and with the other is trying with all its might to deliver him food, aid and medicine. Dozens of trucks every day, two hundred on just one day this week. Is this what war looks like? More like a war game.

Israel feeds its enemies, prolongs the war, makes it harder for our soldiers and relieves the pressure that should lead to the release of the kidnapped from captivity • While this "diplomatic logic" dazzled the eyes of the decision makers, yesterday simple people with a clear truth stood in front of giant trucks and a wrong policy and said: Enough of the drama the folly

"Humanitarian for humanitarian" - remember the slogan behind which the right and left united to make it clear that as long as our abductees do not return home - none of the Hamas terrorists living among the civilian population will accept even the basic conditions on behalf of the State of Israel?

It seems that as time has passed since October 7th our leaders have departed from this basic logic.

They excuse the change of mindset in the cabinet due to international pressure or to extend American credit for the war, but the result is the same: Israel feeds its enemies, prolongs the war, makes it harder for our soldiers and eases the pressure that should lead to the release of the hostages from enemy captivity in Gaza.

Watch: explosion of dozens of buildings east of Khan Yunis

But what the state captains, led by Prime Minister Netanyahu, forgot, the people did not forget.

The families of the abductees did not forget and the mothers of the soldiers did not forget - they showed up yesterday, and not for the first time, at the Kerem Shalom crossing and at other intersections throughout the country to prevent the long aid convoys from entering the Strip.

Dozens shouted the bitter truth: "The king is naked", and took the lot off the almost surreal spectacle - Israel with one hand is fighting against a cruel enemy, and with the other is trying with all its might to deliver him food, aid and medicine.

Dozens of trucks every day, two hundred on just one day this week.

And not only food, but also fuel for the Hamas war machine, water and gas.

Is this what war looks like?

More like a war game.

artificial separation

The artificial separation that the political echelon inspired by the US and Western countries creates between Hamas terrorists and their families, their supporters and their field personnel does not convince those who sent their sons and loved ones to the battlefield. It will never convince those who listened to the recording of the Palestinian's phone call from Gaza to his mother on Black Sabbath, in which he Proud "I murdered Jews", or those who saw the children and women who came after the killers to loot the houses, and those who saw the residents of Gaza beating kidnapped elderly people with sticks.

This war is aimed at subduing an enemy who is well assimilated into the population, he is part of it.

He does not control it with malice: Hamas was chosen by the majority of the residents of the Gaza Strip, and the Nazi ideology of the organization is supported by the residents of Gaza throughout its length and breadth.

The operational logic was supposed to lead Israel to stop all supplies to the Strip, and thus the war would actually be shortened and the enemy's surrender would be accepted more quickly.

Maybe we would have seen the abductees at home.

While this "diplomatic logic" caught the eyes of the decision-makers, yesterday simple people with a clear truth stood in front of huge trucks and wrong policies and said: so much for the plays of stupidity.

The previous deal led to extensive humanitarian aid - but this was supposed to end with the return of the abductees to Israel.

In order to renew the supply of pita bread to Gaza - Sinwar had to beg for his life in these two months.

Instead, he distributes the food that came in with Israeli courtesy to the residents and stands by his refusal to make another deal.

Why not actually?

were we wrong

We will fix it!
