Summary.

On Wednesday, December 20, the government spokesperson, Olivier Véran, announced after a Council of Ministers the appointment of a new Minister of Health: Agnès Firmin Le Bodo.

She succeeds Aurélien Rousseau, who has just resigned to protest against the immigration law, adopted the day before by the National Assembly.

But the day after this announcement, the Mediapart information site made revelations about the minister's past, when she was a pharmacist in Le Havre.

We learn that Agnès Firmin Le Bodo has been targeted since June 2023 by a judicial investigation, suspected of having received between 2015 and 2020 worth 20,000 euros worth of bottles of champagne, luxury watches and other gifts from laboratories Urgo.

This article revives a scandal which was revealed at the beginning of 2023, when Urgo was fined more than 1 million euros, including 625,000 suspended, for having offered thousands of pharmacy managers gifts in kind, a practice however prohibited by law.

Code source returns to this scandal which today affects around 8,000 healthcare professionals with two journalists from the Futurs du Parisien service, Elsa Mari, health specialist, and Nicolas Berrod.
