It's one thing to jet off to a film premiere while two members of the British family are in hospital undergoing surgery, but making a political misstep caused a loud outcry in the British press.

He added: "And we move on, aiming to achieve our development goals shortly and fulfill our true ambitions and destiny as an independent, developed and prosperous country." Jamaica's process of breaking away from the monarchy is said to be underway.

Despite their exit, this puts the Sussexes in political waters, whether they want it or not. Under Holness's reposted speech, in which he turned away from the royals, one could read how embarrassing Harry and Meghan's photo call was viewed: “Here In Kingston, Jamaica, "Harry and Meghan are getting a very different reception than William and Kate in 2022. Many of us here are by no means royalists, but we love underdogs, especially when they are anti-establishment," a second person added : “Harry is a volunteer Jamaican,” and a third: “I can’t express how much this made my evening.”
In addition, the Sussexes jetted to the premiere while Princess Kate had to undergo surgery for abdominal problems and is out of action until Easter.
The king had also announced a planned operation for the week, which can always be problematic at his age, even if he sold the upcoming prostate procedure as a routine operation.
