A 19-year-old young man was shot and killed last fall in Bellevue.

In recent years, the district has become one of the key areas of drug trafficking in Nantes, as well as the scene of score-settling between rival gangs.

The latest episode in this gang war, a violent knife attack almost cost the life of a 20-year-old man on January 12.

The attempted homicide did not take place in the discretion of a building block or on the corner of an alley, but in the middle of a tram stop, under the eyes of local residents.
