Murwillumbah – There were only eleven left!
Only three episodes of the RTL jungle camp had been broadcast when it was clear: one candidate had already finished “I'm a star – get me out of here!”
Shortly before the live broadcast on January 21, 2024, Cora Schumacher (47) voluntarily canceled the TV adventure.
There was then endless speculation about the decision.
With the new jungle camp episode, there is finally clarity about what really happened in the Australian bush.

When Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40) announced around the campfire that Leyla Lahouar (27) had to take part in the jungle test on day four, Cora Schumacher was no longer in the camp.
However, the moderators kept the background secret.
The reason: Viewers should only find out what happened in the new “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” episode on Monday.
In the middle of the night, after going to the toilet with fellow camper Fabio Knez (30), Cora announced that she might be making a serious decision.

“I think I want to go home,” she describes on the show and explains how bad she is feeling.
"I want to go home.
“I can’t take it anymore,” she explains further.
But what exactly was causing Cora so much trouble in her temporary jungle home?
After all, she was actually highly motivated.
Their big problem: the smoke from the campfire.
First “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” episode of 2024 with top ratings
The first episode of “I'm a Star – Get Me Out of Here!”, which was shown on January 19th from 8:15 p.m., gave the broadcaster RTL top ratings.
With a market share of 38.8 percent among 14 to 49 year olds, the show catapulted itself to the top of the ratings list.
This year's opening episode achieved the best jungle camp ratings since 2020.

Cora Schumacher only had to struggle with Corona shortly before leaving for Australia.
“I can’t do this anymore with the smoke, everything is burning.
I can not anymore.
I want to get out of here now.
Now, now, now!
Now!” she complains in the camp.
Mike Heiter's (31) attempt to change her mind also fails miserably.
Because the former racing driver is determined and rushes into the jungle phone: “I'm just super disappointed, especially in myself [...] I've now reached a point where I have to admit that health comes first and “My dream is bursting at this point.”

With the words “I'm a star - get me out of here!” she pulls the ripcord once and for all and then has to say goodbye to the other jungle celebrities.
"I have the phrase 'I'm a star - get me out of here!'
said.
“I’m so sorry!” she announces through tears.
A few hugs later, they head back to civilization.
Her jungle camp companion has also already commented on Cora's exit.
