After a brief escape, he was arrested in Lower Saxony.

After the terrible events on January 25th at a high school in St. Leon-Rot (Rhein-Neckar district), Mayor Dr.
Alexander Eger (FDP) told HEIDELBERG24 in dismay: “The violent death of the student at Löwenrot-Gymnasium is shocking to all of us, a horrific act that leaves all of us in the community stunned.
Our deepest condolences go out to the girl’s relatives and the school community at Löwenrot-Gymnasium.”
