The Amazon Prime show “LOL: Last One Laughing” is entering a new round at Easter.
Now it is known which comedy stars will be there - one in particular is surprising.
Munich - “LOL: Last One Laughing” is THE comedy hit on Amazon Prime Video.
It's no wonder that fans are eagerly waiting for new episodes.
It won't be long: the fifth season of the show hosted by Michael "Bully" Herbig (55) is scheduled to start at Easter.
The “Bild” newspaper reported in advance that a really big comedy star would be there this time: Otto Waalkes (75).
But he's apparently far from the biggest name to appear on the show this year.

Now the newspaper has revealed the other nine stars who will take on the “Whoever laughs gets thrown out” challenge in season five.
These include two names that don't come from the comedy scene, but are even more famous.
Accordingly, singer and presenter Ina Müller (58) and actor Elyas M'Barek (41) should be part of the cast of the new season.
He has already proven that the latter has a sense of humor in the “Fack ju Göhte” films.

But the competitors, all of whom come from the German comedy scene, don't have to hide either.
According to the report, Waalkes, Müller and M'Barek are going against Hazel Brugger (30), Mirja Boes (52), Ralf Schmitz (49), Michael Kessler (56), Torsten Sträter (57), Olaf Schubert (56) and Meltem Kaptan (43) into the race.

At the end, the winner receives a prize of 50,000 euros for a good cause.
A specific start date for the new season of “LOL” is not yet known.
The new episodes have already been announced for Easter.
The starting signal for previous seasons was given on the Thursday before Easter - so the start date this time could be March 28, 2024.
