The trial surrounding the blowing up of an ATM in Neu-Isenburg began on Friday before the Frankfurt regional court with a comprehensive confession from the defendant.
The 24-year-old man admitted in court that he had taken part in the crime at the beginning of April 2019.
He drove the main perpetrator - who was still on the run - to the crime scene, held the door open for him and finally took the four stolen cash boxes with 176.
Frankfurt/Main - 000 euros brought to the getaway car.
He only claims to have received 5,000 euros for his services.
There was significant damage to the bank building.
Among other things, a concrete ceiling collapsed during the detonation.

After this act, the defendant committed further crimes, which he also admitted in court.
In four cases he broke into private homes and business premises in the Rhine-Main area in order to use the loot to finance his drug consumption.
He was arrested last year after a drug deal.
A DNA comparison provided evidence of his involvement in the explosion four years earlier.
In the meantime, the head and organizer of the explosives gang was sentenced to nine and a half years in prison by the Darmstadt regional court.
While the planning of 26 explosions could be proven, the 24-year-old was only involved in one act in Neu-Isenburg.
Because he was still an adolescent at the time of the crime, he could also be sentenced under the more lenient juvenile criminal law.
The criminal chamber has so far scheduled four more days of hearings until mid-February.
