In 2024, in Paris, we can still find tomatoes from the Maghreb, treated with dichloropropene, a potentially carcinogenic substance banned for 15 years in Europe.
And this is not an isolated case, because, according to INRAE, 10% to 25% of imported products do not respect our social and environmental standards.
I am thinking in particular of meat fed on animal meal, GMO cereals from Ukraine, etc.
