Some farmers from the district came together in Dachau on Friday for a protest trip.

Dachau - Around 50 tractors lined up on Etzenhauser Strasse and drove a lap through Dachau via Münchner Strasse, Theodor-Heuss-Strasse, Schleißheimer Strasse, Alte Römerstrasse, Erich-Ollenhauer-Strasse, Freisinger Strasse and Augsburger Strasse.

They honked loudly to draw attention to their demands not to abolish tax breaks.

And were encouraged by many people on the street: “We saw a lot of thumbs up on our journey,” said Simon Sedlmair, district chairman of the Bavarian Farmers’ Association in Dachau.
