The Israel Land Authority (RAMI) demands the vacating of a UNRA complex in Kfar Akeb in northern Jerusalem, which is operating without a permit on land belonging to the State of Israel.

In the letter sent by attorney Nitza Titelbaum, the legal advisor of the Jerusalem region of RMI, she clarifies that UNRA took over the land in the city without a permit, and that RMI demands that it be vacated and collect retroactive user fees totaling approximately NIS 17 million.

The UNRA complex in question was built and operates without a permit on land that is privately owned by the Israel Land Authority. The land, which covers 85 dunams, is located near the Qalandiya checkpoint and was purchased at the beginning of the 20th century by philanthropic Jews from abroad, who donated it to a dedicated development fund Jewish settlement in the Jerusalem area.

UNRA personnel took over the land and established, among other things, a school and a school in memory of terrorists who were involved in terrorist activities in Jerusalem.

On January 14, Attorney Tettleboim sent a warning letter to UNRA in Jerusalem, demanding payment of a retroactive debt of approximately NIS 17 million for the construction and use of buildings without a permit and without the approval of the Israel Land Authority management, as required by law.

"You are hereby required to immediately stop any illegal use, destroy everything you have built in violation of any law, vacate the land from any person and/or object and restore the situation to its original state, within 30 days from the date of this letter," Tittleboim wrote.

Attorney Titelbaum's letter is a continuation of the appeal of the chairman of the "Mawhidim" faction and deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Aryeh King, which was sent three days before to the chairman of the KKL-Junk, Yifat Ovadia-Lusky, demanding that the compound be vacated. King wrote: "The school in Kfar Aqab sits on a plot of land that was purchased a hundred years ago by donors from abroad, who transferred the ownership to KKL-Junk for land redemption." King points out that "in the past, there was a KKL-Junk forest plot called Qalandiya, and the people of Oner" They cut down and uprooted most of the trees."

Upon learning of the Israel Land Authority's demand, King welcomed the decision: "I expect the government to immediately implement the collection of the payment from UNRA, the complete evacuation of the property and its return to Jewish hands, in accordance with its original purpose.

There is no place for enemies in Jerusalem."
