Jan Böhmermann, Fynn Kliemann and Olli Schulz – the “mask affair”, revealed in ZDF Magazine Royal, had consequences.

For many, influencer Fynn Kliemann is persona non grata after the “mask affair”.
Now the Lower Saxon is drawing conclusions – also towards his friend Olli Schulz.
Elsdorf/Zeven - musicians, artists, entrepreneurs - before May 2022, Fynn Kliemann's work only knew one direction: upwards.
But when entertainer Jan Böhmermann illuminated the Lower Saxony's business, his system collapsed.
Advertising partners and fans turned away and Kliemann withdrew completely from the public.
The accusation that corona masks that were supposedly produced fairly were not so fair after all weighed heavily.
Kliemann had rejected the allegations, but also admitted mistakes.
After almost two years, Kliemann is picking up where he left off before the Böhmermann leaks - and rearranging his life and business.
This may also have something to do with the discontinued investigations by the Stade public prosecutor's office against Kliemann: they closed the investigation against the influencer last year after he agreed to pay a sum.
Now his business partner and friend Olli Schulz announced the end of a joint project.

In an interview with “
Zeit
”, Schulz spoke about the joint houseboat project.
Both had renovated Gunter Gabriel's old houseboat in Hamburg - which was also accompanied by a successful Netflix production.
When asked how the houseboat business was going, Schulz replied: “Unfortunately, it’s bad.
The plan didn't quite work.
The berth in Rothenburgsort is not suitable for events.
And bookings have plummeted since the Fynn mask scandal.”

Schulz also said that Kliemann would “drop out of the project.”
He hopes to be able to keep the houseboat alone.
“My heart would bleed if I had to sell it.
I have always dreamed of a houseboat and enjoy spending time there.” Just another aftermath of the “mask affair” for Kliemann?

The period immediately after the affair was obviously not a good time for Kliemann.
In an interview with “
Stern
” the influencer provides insights: “I had appointments with auditors, lawyers and tax advisors for weeks.” Kliemann no longer has any contact with Böhmermann.
Some of his fans also took tough measures.
In addition to numerous critical comments on Kliemann's social media profiles, "some have returned my music or art because of the allegations," reports Kliemann.
Nevertheless, many fans later apologized to him, often in private, away from the public, according to the influencer.

He went on to say in an interview with “
Stern
”: “At the time, I managed eight companies and was quite busy when it came to art and music.
The whole thing was just too much.” His blind trust in his business partners harmed him.
As a result, Kliemann exited all companies based on the research or bought out the shareholders.
His conclusion from this: “I won’t be anywhere anymore without having full control.” Among other things, Fynn Kliemann is now renting out the smallest house in Germany – 4 square meters cost from 179 euros per night.
