A jewelry set is offered for sale at “Cash for Rares”.

Dealer Walter “Waldi” Lehnertz can’t keep his hands off it – and fears having to dig deep into his pockets.

Cologne – This time Steffi Müller (68) is a guest at “Bares für Rares”.

In her luggage she has the jewelry set of a friend's deceased parents.

In the dealer's room, the massive necklace and ring immediately create enthusiasm.

However, Walter “Waldi” Lehnertz (56) had a mishap with the clunker.

“Cash for Rares” saleswoman brings a valuable jewelry set for the dealers

The expertise of Horst Lichter (62), who recently reached his limits with “Bares für Rares”, and Patrick Lessmann make it clear that these are valuable pieces of jewelry from the 1970s.

The master goldsmith made 33 diamonds in the necklace alone.

Both the ring and the necklace have a large turquoise stone as an eye-catcher.

The expert also certifies that the goods are in “super” condition.

In numbers, that amounts to around 2,900 euros to 3,200 euros for Lessmann.

This means that the expertise is below Steffi Müller's expectations.

The laboratory manager from Böblingen would have liked 4,000 euros for it - but is still satisfied.

“Now I have to buy it”: “Cash for Rares” dealer Waldi can no longer get the ring

In the “Cash for Rares” dealer room, the set then passes through the hands of potential buyers in turn.

Waldi can't help it and even puts the ring on his finger - with fatal consequences.

“Ah, I can't get him off anymore.

Now I have to buy it,” he complains.

After a lot of pulling and pushing, he is able to get away from it.

Fabian Kahl (32), on the other hand, prefers to put on the necklace.

In the end, neither of them strikes.

Instead, Elke Velten (71) gets the contract.

She paid 2,900 euros for the two pieces of jewelry.

“I am satisfied with the negotiation and am now going home with a good feeling,” concludes saleswoman Steffi.

Waldi recently even had stress with his wife because of “Cash for Rares”.
